Anxiety is something we all experience—but sometimes it can start to take over our lives.
You’re juggling a thousand things—work, family, relationships, school—and even when things are going fine on the outside, internally it feels like you’re always one step away from unraveling.
Overthinking every interaction and playing conversations on repeat in your head are your norm, and even though you’re exhausted, you still stay up late because your brain won’t stop spinning. And yes, while much of it feels like the stress in your mind, you’re noticing other symptoms, too—tension in your chest, a tight jaw, irritability, and feeling like you’re always “on.”
And if you’re a parent, anxiety can make that part of life feel nearly impossible. Sometimes it can make friendships and relationships feel fragile (and unsustainable), like getting through every single hour of the day is a performance.
If this is you, I want you to know: you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
It’s time to give your nervous system a break.
MY APPROACH
We start by figuring out how anxiety is showing up in your day-to-day life.
This looks different for everyone. It could be perfectionism, people-pleasing, shutting down in conflict, or always putting everyone else’s needs before your own. Together, we’ll untangle the thoughts, emotions, and physical responses that are getting in the way.
Our work usually involves:
Learning how anxiety lives in your nervous system and what your body needs to feel safe
Practicing strategies to calm your mind and manage stress in real time
Building tools to regulate your emotions so you feel more in control, not just reactive
Understanding the beliefs you’ve internalized that make you feel “never enough”
Exploring where those beliefs come from and how to reframe them with more compassion and perspective
I don’t follow a rigid formula. Instead, I use evidence-based methods like ACT, CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR (when helpful), tailoring everything we do with you. And if there’s something specific you want to work on, we’ll focus on that, too. You’ll always be an active participant in the process. This is your space, and you get to take up all of it.
What therapy for anxiety makes possible:
Feeling your feelings without being ruled by them.
Saying no and less second-guessing yourself.
Confidence that doesn’t rely on outside validation.
Space between a trigger and your reaction.
A quieter inner critic.
Knowing what calm actually feels like.
Talking to yourself like someone you care about.
Feeling like yourself, not just the anxious version of you.
Anxiety might be loud, but it doesn’t get the final say. You do.
